Re: 8-Bit Heroes Portrait Pack
If you want to retain the classy 8-bit look, you might want to disable anti-aliasing in your image editor, so the "pixels" remain actual pixels, instead of getting blended in. So thats what that was. At any rate, I like the faded look but I might come back and re-release a separate pack w...

8-Bit Heroes Portrait Pack
Hello. This is my first made portrait pack for Legend of Grimrock, the theme is old NES characters such as Mega Man and Mario from back in their youngest of days. The file is about 1.13 megabites on my disk currently and holds 31 or so portraits. Portraits range from Legend of Zelda to Mario to Fina...

Re: [LEVEL 10 SPOILER] Logical?
Well, couple theories I got, so let me take a crack at it. 1: Toorum was disguised as a monster, but was uncovered. This is a simple one. He disguises himself as a monster, or something that would fit in as a monster. After finding the secret room, soon to be his tomb, a monster purposefully pushed ...

Re: Dungeon Ideas, Anyone?
It would be an interesting idea for a single floor. You'd just have to be careful not to make it too frustrating for the player. Some mazes in games are fun, others are just monotonous. It will still retain the merry-go-round feel of the actual Labyrinth but will have you go through multiple dead e...

Dungeon Ideas, Anyone?
I've been getting so gitty waiting for the tools that may or may not be coming eventually, but I honestly can't hold ideas that wouldn't be interesting. Point of discussion is any series of wacky or crazy ideas you have thought of for a map that you will be making. Since I'm starting us all off, my ...

Re: Level Editor Tutorials
I honestly can't wait for mapping tools. I'm somewhere between creating a open world style dungeon with areas where there are multi levels, but it will be extremely tricky. My second idea is to make one based off of several greek myths, such as ones surround Daedalus and his son Icarus. If you aren'...

Re: spider mod pls :)
This really isn't a solution, as it is removing a core enemy from the game. No other enemy can poision you, thus making them a neccessary evil. Also, as far as I am aware, there are no map editing tools yet, so you have to wait. Also, WHY MAKE ANOTHER THREAD WHEN THERE IS ALREADY A THREAD LITERALLY ...

Re: Let's Brainstorm Dungeon Ideas (Also, Movie inside!)
I was thinking of making a, almost free-roam centric town where you enter different buildings that hold different secrets. The street would probably be like this: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I I I I I I Dungeon I I I I I I I ---- - -- -- --I I- - - - - - - - - - I________...

Re: Average Age ...
14 years of age.
I just find it odd that there are so many dudes in their twenties playing this as well, thats just neat. I have never played a dungeon crawler, but have played rouge likes like Nethack and Dungeons of Dreadmore before, and enjoyed those. Gotta say, loving it.
