Re: Grimrock 2
Grimrock II is great news! Looking forward to it. Gameplay is going to be the main concern for good reason, but I'd like to add that I loved how elegantly minimalistic the narrative of LoG was. I hope for something similar (aesthetically, not strictly in terms of content) in G-II.

Good idea! My backrow rock-chucker would love tossing insta-kill blueberry pies!sevtai wrote:I just wish it was an epic throwing weapon, or maybe a hat that grants immortality

Re: Does sleeping use food up
Yes, though it seems to use it more slowly than running and fighting (unless I'm reading my own game wrong). Darklord is right, healing stones are better since they don't reduce other stats.

Re: Question for EVERYONE here
Don't really fancy Roguelikes myself, I prefer hand sculpted over random any day! :) Oh, I'd never argue with the assertion that handcrafted = higher quality. Hurrah for great craftsmanship! It's just that for me, roguelikes are kind of a palate-cleanser. LoG is great, and I don't want to play othe...

Re: Question for EVERYONE here
It makes me want to go play older roguelikes once I finish LoG. There is a rigorous simplicity (complex simplicity?) to the gameplay that I really enjoy. On the other hand, the graphics, sound design, main theme, and narrative framework of LoG are all excellent, and I honestly don't think I would en...

Re: Amazing game thanks and well done!
This is the second "congrats" thread I'm joining, but I really couldn't agree more with most of what's already been said here. The game really is a pleasure to look at and play: extremely well-crafted puzzles (some easy, some difficult), good monster variety and placement, logical but stil...

Re: Absolutely LOVE The Game
Just wanted to chime in with this thread...
Well done, gentlemen. You've made a great game.
Personally, I love story- and dialogue-heavy rpgs, but I also love well-crafted simplicity and rigor, and Legend of Grimrock definitely delivers.
