Re: Uninstalled It
DO NOT FEED THE TROLL. No he is not a Troll, the definition of a troll is someone who posts once and disappears, a troll does not reply after his first post. that's an entirely incorrect definition of an internet troll. i do not think the OP is trolling, but your definition is just wrong. There is ...

Re: Hardcore mode and difficulty levels
It would be neat if a death system was in place like Nethack. In the next go around, find your old party's skeletons (maybe some of the gear not already looted by monsters guarded by a ghost) where you died. i'm not sure lootpiles would be as interesting in Grimlock as they are in nethack. there's ...

Re: Expanding combat
Never thought about dungeons having multiple elevations. It would be nice to see if them, even if only for the more interesting architecture. I don't think it should be too hard for the devs to make, apart from how the automap would display things. I'm not sure if the game was built from the ground...

Re: Roster suggestion
The problem with picking rosters is that you would easily end up with lots of cloned items, which is not is not great in my book. Stripping them naked on import could work, though. hmm. i think this could be managed at the dungeon level. when someone creates a dungeon, they can check a box that for...

Re: Wonderful. Your test was successful, now for the Big Da
The idea that you would put together a whole team of programmers to simply "donate" their time OWS style in order to make a great game simply to benefit humanity in some kind of anti-capitalist socialist utopia is nonsense. while i agree that the post you're responding to is silly, your p...

Re: Man I am so FULL I cannot walk [SUGGESTION]
please no. inventory management is part of the game. your suggestions would make that entire mechanic pointless. keep a stash wherever you want. use the boxes/sacks to organize. when you're a level down from your last stash, if you feel like you need some stuff from the stash, move the items you sti...

Re: Hardcore mode and difficulty levels
i would love a perma-death option. also, when user created dungeons come out, designers should be able to mark dungeons as perma-death only.
ALSO -- a variant:
Only saves at blue crystal! No saving anywhere else. Please!!!

Re: Why Not Bring a Mage?
In the end, and extra rogue probably be easier (less clicking and hazzle) and at least as effective in terms of damage. for me, it's all about the clicks. i hate how much clicking the mage requires, and i never end up using them in battle (except for a single pre-prepared spell). i don't use them b...

Roster suggestion
Right now, characters seem tied to saved games. It would be great, especially as dungeons are added (from the dev as dlc, or user created) to be able to have a roster of heroes from your other games to use to play through them. Dungeons would need control settings to ensure balance -- for example, o...

Re: Wonderful. Your test was successful, now for the Big Da
to edit my above post, and converse at the same time... there actually was one puzzle i had to consult a guide on, and that was the mage's entrance on level 6. i could find absolutely nothing at all to give me a hint at what to do there. odd. for me, as soon as i saw the name, 'mage's entrance', i ...
