Finished playthrough My 2 cents
So after 20 some hours what do I think? As many have pointed out Firearms was a let down for me. To little ammo and no scaling made them a fairly poor choice. AI like it for the most part it was a good improvement over LoG1 though still fairly easy to game but that is just what you have to live with...

Re: God I'm hating this game right now...
Looking at your party it looks like you have no casters and neither of the only two melee weapons in the game that can hurt this guy. So yeah you might just want to run away from this one. Two? I thought the dagger was the only one, what's the second weapon? Well there is a dagger, and I believe th...

Re: Planning optimized party - looking for feedback
I wasn't really talking about crystal flowers. Only that is just what you said in case you want to cheese with +STAT potions. Stacking potions if it is not intended should be bug reported. Thorwing things from the inventory is not a big deal over all as it really is sub optimal outside of bomb thro...

Re: Planning optimized party - looking for feedback
You don't need an Alchemist. There are so many herbs in the game that you only need these extra herbs in case you want to cheese with +STAT potions. Still, it's a matter of going for more DPS (Rogue) or more utility (Alchemist). I would not count this as cheese any more then optimizing a race/class...

Re: Planning optimized party - looking for feedback
So long as you don't consider alchemist using their full potential as cheating, they are the strongest class by a large margin. If you where not supposed to dupe that herb then they would have just made it impossible to dupe. Even as it is you only net a couple of them extra unless you go way out o...

Most have accidentally turned on the Dark Souls option. Because that was the sounds I made the first time I ran into the Asylum Demon.Rithrin wrote:Heh, difficulty so obscene it had to be censored!minmay wrote:Hey Mwah, I think I'm making some progress.

Re: BattleMage is a superior version of the Wizard
The Wizard advantage is completely irrelevant as by endgame I near had 60 Etherweeds and more than enough Mana Potions to spare in my Battlemage's inventory. Re: Which starting traits are the most worthwhile?
I would actually love to be convinced otherwise :P I'm a powergamer by nature Then you can never be convinced. Power gamers only see the numbers and math of a game as such it is all black and white. It is either mechanically the most optimal or it is utter trash. If that is how you have "fun&q...
