where do I find the "Sword of Nex" - which is needed to open the door at "Fighter's Challenge"?!

I am also stuck in killing that cube machine. Somewhere I read "did you pull away parts of the machine"?!
Then I try to click on the machine while it is pushing me to the next wall. But I couldn't pull anything.

How do I "pull" parts of the machine?!
