Re: Sword Fighter: When to get 2ndary?
Since you only need 8 in Armors to get light armor proficiency, you could offset most of that cost by giving him one the skill books you'll find in the dungeon. Yes my plan was to give him a skill book-- and maybe that answers my question-- keep upping Sword until I find my first skill book, then a...

Sword Fighter: When to get 2ndary?
Hi, all. I have a Fighter who so far (char lvl6) has put all of his points into swords. He's a fairly agile fighter (high dex and some evasion gear), though I already have an evasion unarmed rogue next to him in the front ranks. He's Skilled, so as a human projects to have 55 skill points at Level 1...

Re: Yet another party build question
I know there are posts that try to calculate how far you can get into a second tree, and there are skill books to be applied, but what's the "general" number of skill points available per game for Human Skilled characters? Any character gets 4 skill points on level-up and without training...

Yet another party build question
Okay, I've read a bunch of posts and almost have my party set. I only plan on completing the base game once. I have a few questions based on the party below: - Human Fighter: 11S,16D,14V,12W, Skilled and Agile, start with 5 Sword and 2 Armor. - Human Rogue: 10S, 17D, 12V, 12W, Skilled and Fist Fight...

Nevermind-- I found a way to convert your images. Thanks-- I really like the Lizard and Mino images.trentjaspar wrote: Broken link! Does the TGA of the female minotaur exist anywhere? I'd love to use it!

Re: Time to Show Off Your New Custom Parties!
Here's my custom party, complete with a Lizardwoman and female Minotaur. The other two are D3 portraits. Girl powah! Here's a link of those two in TGA format in case anyone wants: http://www.nippyzip.com/uploads/120422110443-83861.zip Sorry no insect girls. Yuck. Broken link! Does the TGA of the fe...

Re: Hidden switches: more than "loose rock"s?
There are two types of buttons, the little corner loose rock and the larger square not-very-hidden one in the middle of one of the bricks Oh yes, the rectangular switches. I guess I wasn't counting those as "hidden," but yes they are more hidden than wall switches or pull-chains. on the l...

Re: Do pits play it to safe?
My two cents is that my natural inclination, of course, was not to fall into pits. Duh, right? Then the first thing I read on a "tips thread" is, "make sure you launch yourself headlong into every pit you see!!!" (paraphrased) I was kind of disappointed. I was looking forward to ...

Hidden switches: more than "loose rock"s?
Hi there. I'm fairly new to the game, on level 3 (and already planning on starting over!). I've seen several of the "loose rock" type of hidden switches in the game-- you know, the little divot in the corner of one of the cinderblocks that serves as a switch. Early on, I used to scour ever...

This made me laugh out loud. I think it hits pretty close to home.bkawcazn wrote:Every second your weapon cooldown is expired is a second you are not hitting a monster because you suck.
