Re: This amuses and makes me slightly angry at the same time

You're thinking of a throwing spear, which is a different weapon. I would agree if the skeletons used them in this manner, but these appear to be polearms and not missile weapons.

Re: List of all spells in Legend of Grimrock

This might be better if moved to "Hints"; I think that's where people would look for this kind of info.

Good work putting together the list, I'm sure I'll eventually have to look one up if I can't find the scroll. :-P

Re: Exp system feedback

I think removing player choice on skills will greatly improve the enjoyment of the game, and additionally will remove the drive to min/max. The quoted sentence above makes no sense to me. You would enjoy the game more with less choice? You do know you don't HAVE to min/max right? I mean, there's no...

Re: Dying.

But then again the game might become a bit too hard. ;) If the dead would loose all their equipment until you reclaim it back might be challenging if you haven't managed to kill the monsters first. Indeed, that could be difficult then. Not a bad idea for a "super-hardcore" mode though. :-)

Re: Dying.

Hi. I just survived an encounter with only my minotaur fighter left alive. Although I was happy that I got though the tight spot I also wondered why the dungeon was still lit. The torch was on my dead mage and it still provided light. I was also able to change the torch in to a new one while travel...

You guys are applying WAY too much logic to a game not based in reality.

Re: achievements?

too bad, guess that means next time i rather buy a game via steam instead of gog :( achievements in themselves not being essential, but i still find them rather amusing, and a nice way to hint at stuff you can do in game, which perhaps you didnt even try out for yourself or simply funny things. You...

Re: Suggestions for additional spells

Some random ideas: Ice + Air = a lingering cloud that does ice damage and slows enemies. Fire + Air = A 3 tile long burst of fire Physicality + Air = gust of wind that knocks enemies back. Fire + Earth = A lingering pool of magma that does fire damage. Earth + Physicality = columns of stone rise ou...

Re: Suggestion: Redistributing skillpoints at level up

There are already buttons for this. On the menu. "Save" and "load". Im normally in favor of giving a player more options however i dont want to have to confirm after each level up because others can't be bothered to use the existing mechanic. Its unnecesary clutter on the screen....
