Re: Grimrock 2 import
Well, IMHO there should be an option to import characters from LOG 1 to LOG 2. The essential feature of each RPG is experience and progress of your character(s). It would be nice to play the same pack after sequel is going to be released. And in many old fashioned RPG's e.g. EOB or ISHAR that option...

Re: [Linux] Would grimrock work on my PC?
Unfortunately Legend of Grimrock doesn't work under Windows with my graphics card. Do you think it might work under Linux. BTW I've just noticed [Linux] in the title of this thread. I preordered Grimrock almost a year ago and I can't play it. Changing laptop is not an option in my case right now:(( ...

Re: [Linux] Would grimrock work on my PC?
Pixel shading refers to a feature of the card. Open GL and Direct X are rendering platforms. Windows Uses MS propitiatory Direct X rendering platform where Open GL is ran on everything else. As far as Shading goes. Both support Pixel shading but in different languages Direct X object oriented rende...

Does it mean the game would run on Pixel Shader 2.0 now?antti wrote: The 2.1 OpenGL requirement was only dropped from the Windows version which now uses DirectX for both rendering modes. OpenGL 2.1 is still required for Mac and Linux.

Re: Are these old laptop specs good enough to run Grimrock?
Hey guys! Sneak peek: The next version of Grimrock will have a new graphics option which affects the overall rendering quality. Turning it down improves the frame rate a lot especially on computers with slower graphics cards. For example on Nvidia 320M the frame rate improved from ~15 fps to 45-60 ...

Re: Playing below official minimum requirements
I did. However I am in much worse situation as I have laptop with Mobility Radeon 9800 supporting Pixel Shader 2.0 only. It can't be upgraded anymore.Zed wrote:but I wonder how many ppl will buy it from 'GOG' without realising it needs a half decent gaming rig & can't play it ?

Re: Playing below official minimum requirements
I'm feeling quite comfortable while playing this game on single core Pentium 4c HT 2.4GHz and ATI Radeon X1300XT with 256MB memory and so far, I haven't encountered any errors /crashes. Do any others have similar experience? Because if yes, maybe it could be good to mention this on official FAQ? It...

Re: Pixel Shader 2.0
Just keep buttering up the wife, she'll cave after she gets tired of you staring longingly at Grimrock screenshots all day. :D Yeah - It may work!! But seriously - As you said, after the game release there should be thousands of posts about "tweaking" the game. So I may be something like ...
