Re: [LINUX] The game wont start

Apologies for the long delay! We have just pushed a new Linux beta to Steam that should fix this issue. If you are on Steam, could you please test it by opting into the "linux_beta" branch (in Library -> Legend of Grimrock -> Properties -> Betas)? If you're not a Steam user, here's a link...

Re: [LINUX] The game wont start

Created a workaround for this issue, you can download it from my google drive here: Grimrock_GTX900_Fix_(tested_up_to_349_16).tar.gz Simply extract the 2 folders to your Grimrock folder (Select yes if asked about merging folders). If using the GOG version you have to go to "Legend of Grimrock/g...

Re: Linux version?

Is there a reason that Wine is not [or should not] be an option? I haven't used Wine in years, but would performance be less (or that much less) than native speed? *I mean User initiative; not a turn-key product like Loki may have done. Re: No Tux No Bux

Just to add my 2 cents here about my views for a Linux version: I've bought Grimrock 1 back when it was on Humble Bundle and the Linux port was the selling point for me, I played it loved every moment and even rebought it on GOG.com when it included the Linux version. I have fond memories of Stoneke...

Re: linux game crashes at start after choosing high res

I've registered to say thanks for pointing out the hidden file thing, been searching for half an hour :-) For people using Linux Mint you can also open the file explorer and from the menu bar go to View > Show Hidden Files (or press Ctrl + H). The key shortcut probably also works for the majority of...
