Re: New Here - Working on a Dungeon

Just a quick update. After a bit of distractions (vacation, Skyrim, a ton of new games from GOG and Steam, more Skyrim) I'm back to working on Moo. I've finished outlining six maps so far: * Ancient Temple of Moo * Cathedral of Carnage * The Maze From Hell * Slithercult Stronghold * Halls of Insanit...

Re: Favorite Table Top Sci-Fi RPG?

My friends and I are about to start up an Alternity game set in the Mass Effect world and I got wondering, What are everyone's favorite Sci-fi table top games? Hands-down, Paranoia . My friends and I in high school loved it. Never made it very far, since I was a pretty sadistic GM, heh. Also loved ...

Re: New Here - Working on a Dungeon

There are tricks to get around the randomized walls & floor drains. I have a couple maps with wrapping hallways. It's doable. Ya know, I'd forgotten that Neikun released a pack of walls so, technically, you could actually just place them and then you wouldn't have to worry about them being rand...

Re: New Here - Working on a Dungeon

Well, if you remember your MM3, you must remember The Maze From Hell. I will definitely be working that one into the mix, heh. I have been mostly working on maps for now, and will start tying them together once I get the maps in place. Because these are one level dungeons, there are no connecting s...

Re: New Here - Working on a Dungeon

Found ya! I'm glad you decided to come over, and I can't wait to see what you come up with! M&M 3 is easily my favorite of the series. Don't worry about "barebones" - sometimes, simple is better, and there are people here who enjoy all kinds of game play. I (and some extremely patient...

Re: New Here - Working on a Dungeon

Thanks, Neikun. I'm hoping people will like what I've done. The premise is a bit barebones, but it works for now. :)

New Here - Working on a Dungeon

Hi, everyone. I'm FlynnArrowstarr (or just Flynn). I'm a long-time gamer that loves to tinker with games that have level editors or designers. Thanks to SpiderFIghter for encouraging me to join the forums over here from the GOG.com forums. I'm new to Grimrock, and especially new to the Dungeon Edito...
