orge Ogre. Get in front of him, a few spaces away. Sidestep as he starts to charge, then him him as he goes past. If you're by the wall he crashes into, you can hit him in the back. 2. I really miss the learning by doing from DM. The fixed skill system doesn't work as well for me, i can't really say why maybe because of the thrill in gaining an unexpected skill. 3. Potion brewing with ingredients limits its use by a lot. The System from DM were you could literally cast a spell...

We need emotionally engaging storylines, party banter, romance subplots (gay romances are a must), kickass cutscenes, multiplayer with unlockable items and perks, a hint system and a compass that points out where the secrets are, chest-high walls to gain cover from and detailed models of the party ...

I love the rune based system, but I do admit that I miss the way it was implemented in Dungeon Master. I could try to cast any spell I liked, but I had to start from weak versions first and practice even for that to work. As I practiced/used the spell more I could move to more powerful variants. An...

Completely agree with everything you just said! :) I think this spell system will grow on me though, I guess I'm happy too that DM remains unique. One thing that not many people have mentioned about DM's casting system is the fact all of the runes had names. You didn't find spell scrolls with diagr...

By accident, of course. Luckily I was half way through the second level, so I only spent about 2.5 hours playing. I did learn that all 4 characters need to be active in combat to receive xp. My 'wizard' was just holding torches until I saw his xp wasn't the same as the rest of the party. I honestly...
