It's not the same thign since sound will not be transferred over the surrounding air. And that will be also the problem with more than one speaker inside the cup. The video shows that it IS possible to locate with stereo heaphones. How should you still need 4 speakers (inside an headphone). Note that I'm speaking of a stereo heaphone not of stereo speakers!
