Right, did you read what we're saying? We know how to open the passage by illuminating the Champion of the Sun - that's not the issue at hand.

Yes, the weapon is far more effective. 2-3 hits and they're done. Still annoying, but they became a complete non-issue for me once I obtained the blade.

I, on the other hand, did complete the Pyramids, but never found the 20th stone of power, and so didn't get the second "final" ending. I also left a few secrets untouched. Doesn't bother me that much - gives me motivation for my second playthrough.

I honestly am not sure. It seems logical that this should be a secret or something, but it could just be a red herring. Piscata Rosea 445, anyone? I tried variations on extinguishing all the light in the room, closing all the doors, extinguishing my own light, and even throwing dark bolts around. So...
