Just a quick update. Two NVidia driver releases later and the problem appears resolved.
I am now running driver version 355.82 (released on August 31st), hopefully this will now stay fixed
For most people the simplest solution to any problems like this is to slap a cheap amd/NVidia gpu into their machines and switch to a better quality of driver but laptop users typically don't have that luxury (I could upgrade the GPU on my laptop if I want to get technical but it would be major sur...
The intel site had drivers 5 years out of date... somehow I think that might be a step in the wrong direction, the last version supported directly by Intel is for the 4th gen icore processors. We are talking about a first generation i3 core processor, not a 5th gen, just being replaced item... Well...
Its a bit off topic since you have the answer already from dr.disaster, But why use win 10?. Is your win xp, win7, win8, or win8.1 broken? I think its not. Why update then? Don't fix that isn't broken. Using the latest is bound you got probs with it. Stick to a stable OS. **blink** Would you...

When it comes to Intel HD graphics drivers you have no choice with whether or not to use Microsoft - Intel handed responsibility for them over to Microsoft years ago, functionality went backwards since they don't really care how good they are as long as they "work". The Nvidia Windows 10 r...
Don't expect old drivers to work as they did before under a new OS especialy graphics and sounds. With your laptop being dual gpu it should be easy to test if the problem is gpu related: set the gpu switch to manual for LoG and try nVidia first, Intel second. You obviously didn't read the post - th...
If both your systems have the same edition of Windows 10 but the game now only runs on your desktop then my guess is your laptop's graphics driver fails. Best course of action would be to update to the latest video driver. Both AMD and nVidia released new versions on Win 10 release day so make sure...
I've checked the windows log and it just reports that it crashed and little more than that. No information on the faulting module, no trace, just the basic failure event record. Can you post grimrock.log? It's at My Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock 2\grimrock.log Maybe the solution in this...
I've been running my laptop with windows 10 in preview mode for some months and LoG2 has been running without problem but as of the last build (before release) it just refused to load. I've just rebuilt my laptop from scratch to try and get it running again but I'm left with the same fault. As soon ...
