Re: scifi game for you
Briefly in English; he's saying he'd like to see a scifi themed dungeon crawler ála Captive.
I wonder.. is there any reason why that wouldn't work as a mod? (apart from all the work required)

Re: Pertinent question ! Support for Oculus DK2 ?
Having tried LoG2 with stereo-3d glasses, I'm not sure oculus support would be as simple as you'd think. There's some graphics tricks used that don't work in stereo-3d (like items that look like they're on the same level when seen in 2d are not on the same level in 3d), so it would require quite bit...

Re: Slow Saving
Compare the save game sizes between LoG1 and LoG2. You'll find that LoG2 saves are significantly larger..Sitalk wrote:Loading times are abnormally long and the freeze when clicking the crystal is something wasn't there in Grimrock 1.

Re: Linux Version?
Maybe. Although in my tests it seems that the Grimrock engine has better performance on Direct3D. At least in the past, d3d drivers on windows have been more stable than the opengl ones. In some of my OpenGL applications (using version 1.2 features) people still, on this day and age, manage to fix ...
