I admit it's probably my fault... when I responded to drakkan's comment "if all you need to worry about is rewriting your dialogue then you are a happy man".

I dunno why I feel the need to correct people when they mis-gender me online. I just kind of thought my gender was obvious.
I admit I'm guilty of it too, I assumed all you guys are men.

(I know I talk way too much but I don't think it's because I'm female. I have Asperger's Syndrome, and I get really offended when people ltely use Autistic as an insult when they want to call people retarded, autistic does not = retarded, we are just on a different wavelength. and yeah there are a lot less women with autism than men. the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Temple Grandin)

Gosh, do you experience that alot? I have been involved and witnessed some fairly bottom-of-the-barrel forum discussions (Brawl Hall anyone?) and I can't say that I recall ever reading someone using Autistic references for insults. Probably not because everyone is so peachy creamy, but because it seems less effective than saying "retard." Although, blatant name-calling is just lazy and unimaginative anyway.

Anywho, welcome to the community. Personally, I don't care about a persons gender, race, religion, nor politics. I mean, who really knows anyway, right? Maybe you're a woman or maybe you're just Isaac's alter ego, na' mean?

Go write some code, create a Mod, and lets see whatcha got to offer the gaming community.

the autistic thing, I've been seeing a lot on the steam forums, probably because retard is censored on there. I see it over and over someone says "you must be autistic" or they say "are you autistic or something?" in response during a flame war
