Well the Steam version runs perfectly fine on Win10 so it's not the game that gives you trouble.

Check the event log for crash info.
Update your drivers.
Re-run the common redistributables that come with the game.
Run the game from a different user account.
Try running it with Admin privileges.

No crash information?

So does it launch and then simply close?

Does the crash bring up an error window, containing something like this?
The following error occured while starting up the game:
D3DError - CreateTexture failed: E_INVALIDARG
Check that your documents folder has a folder called "Almost Human". Check that this folder contains a folder named "Legend of Grimrock 2". Check in here are at least two more subfolders and 2 files: grimrock.cfg and grimrock.log.

If "grimrock.cfg" does exist:
Open it with Notepad and change the line with the parameter "renderingQuality" into "renderingQuality = 1"
Save the file.
Start the game.
Does it run now or still crash?

You did not answer my question: do you get a popup window with an error message?

On top of that: post the content of your "grimrock.log" file here.

Open nVidia Control Panel and click "Manage 3D Settings".
Click the tab "Program Settings".
Check if a profile for LoG2 exists. If there is none create a new profile.
Under "Set the prefered graphics processor" select your nVidia card.
