Does it run on wine

I don't own a mac, nor a windows licence, but I love vintage gaming under wine.
Does LoG run under wine?

It's officially unsupported (we haven't tested it in house) but there have been reports of people running the tech demo under Wine. I recommend that you wait for awhile before purchasing so that we or somebody else has tested this with the final build.
