You can't create this particular note, it has unique ID. And you can't trade it to Ratlington bank too, they take "notes" only, and this one is a "letter". Are you sure you found it already? The place you mapped is correct, but the letter is hidden a bitI heard that you can create objects using some code, but I don’t know how and where and what to write.

I have been trying to get a door open by placing a letter/note/scroll in a alcove but I cannot get it to work if i change the item to say a pickaxe it will work, don't know how to script this, like in the Guardians to enter the mine using a 'mine access certificate' pls help. thx in advance.

Hi fantastic mod, however I am playing on a mac m1, it plays good, but when i get to area for example at start of maze of madness there is a stairs leading up to some garden, and then when I press map, game crashes, also when I go from hoary mountains at start, when I got skull key, there is some garden with 2 elementals, game crashes on pressing TAB, map.. log doesnt show much: === Software Failure === C++ exception

A few days ago, I came across this GREAT, EXCELLENT and AWESOME mod. Everything about it is great, except that I think learning how to cook and mining is unnecessary. It punishes and scares novice players (it scared me), It would have been enough to be able to cook without further ado and to be able to use pickaxes with a maximum number of uses without further ado, I also found the extremely high food penalty for digging, using the pickaxe, or sleeping annoying (this is just my opinion, of course).
Out of fear of food, I played with only two characters at the normal mode, but after playing for about 5 hours I realized it was a mistake, once you master cooking and also have access to buying food with gems, food is really abundant (added to the cooked food you find in levels and secrets), If I had known this, I would have played on Hard mode with four characters.
My characters at the end of the game:

Amnesia potions are great. Troll blood potions are wonderful. The pink cake that not only nourishes you but also heals you was my favorite food.
All the secrets and treasures discovered, some with online guide, because some secrets are really difficult to find:
There are also a ton of “missable” secrets, I am not a “fan” of this type of secrets, but that doesn't stop the mod from being a work of art.
There's a note that intrigues me; it must be an Easter egg. Does anyone know what this note means?

In terms of technicalities, the mod works perfectly, with no stability issues, slowdowns, or crashes.
I found something that could be called a “bug”, In the "Pyramid", to the northeast, there is a puzzle with four plates, where you have to throw a stone (or any item), etc. to access a secret. The problem is that you can throw the stone and it goes through the door to hit the plate, but if, just as you do so, the teleporter is disappearing, so the stone doesn't move and stays at the bottom of the plate without being able to remove it (this happened to me twice in several of my attempts). If this happens, the secret becomes inaccessible. It would be enough to add a reset button or something like that.
I also think that magic bags should be updated to the type of bags found in other mods that weigh only 100 grams and whatever you put in them doesn't weigh anything in your inventory (this is very useful when playing a game in SOLO mode), and perhaps make them less abundant and more expensive to create.
I found the treasure in “Misty Swamps” without ever finding the clue, simply by digging in suspicious places. Where is the clue?

The 25-torch puzzle is also exaggerated (due to the number of torches), although the idea (to light up the city) is good.

For example, leaving objects on the floor in "Undertown" – "Thieves Guild" placed in a specific order based on a note from the upper level to open a wall. or placing the four protective spell scrolls in the pyramids, where do you get four scrolls of that type in that part of the game? And where is the clue for that? The mechanics of sometimes being able to use the pickaxe on a normal wall to break it down and access a secret is also quite confusing, as is removing some collapses with a fire bomb, should these types of obstacles have some visible clue on them?

Based on the secret puzzle in Undertown - Thieves Guild, X would mean placing an item in a space and O would mean leaving it empty, but what about the rest? And where? Will we have to find a room with that number of tiles? It could also be something related to “Goldheaven” - “Mage's Guild” I'll start investigating later.

Hey Emilio, regarding the Misty Swamps chest, there should be a note in the cursed coast map (saying ' The authorities closed the passage... I buried the all the stuff... ')
i just checked my notes and i did mention the chest above - so 1st bravo to me.., 2nd i hope it's the chest you're referencing to..
i played the fisrt 2 mods of the serie, Lost City and The Guardians. Both are execellents indeed - The Guardians being even better thant the 1st one, although difficult to master at first. Back then, I had to complain to the author of course there weren't any clue to help about the mining and cooking fetatures. I think after that that he bothered to drop a note somewere at the start, as a little help..

It's the type of thing (when you have no idea what to do) which can make you drop an otherwise very good adventure - that's why i requested to integrate a little clue there (very quick to make and then which can help a lot).
Ather that (once i knew how the games worked), i loved both these cooking and mining stuff ( the kichen was a great moment each time i had to cook). Originals and very good ideas.

Regarding the note that gives clues about mining and cooking, I found it useful.
Cooking is fun, that's right, and you can figure out recipes for great dishes without having found the recipe. I found that fun. But I still think that the “skills” learned from the cookbook and the mining book don't contribute anything.
Regarding the mysterious note in the pyramid, do you have any idea what it means?

I'll start "Final Adventure" maybe today.

I just looked at the note “The authorities closed...”, but that note does not refer to the treasure in Misty Swamps, but to the treasure in “Cursed Coast” (Opposite the plague sign) I have checked all the notes I have, and none of them refer to the treasure in “Misty Swamps”.

but still it's confusing
because i wrote back then something about diging near the sign that says Misty Swamps.. in the cursed coast map.. See? So you're right obviosly but i mean there's still a misty swamps sign in the cursed coast map, so in some way i'm not totally wrong either
But i just quoted my notes there, i read a bit of it and i just remember very little overall, it's quite a long time i mean. For wath it's worth, seems like i missed the chest in the misty swamp map..
hold on.. i wrote something about a chest in the misty swamp map too, but i didn't mentioned anynthing regarding its clue
just that it was reachable through the moss caves map. Probably the same chest ?
Regarding the note with the ### characters, i'm sorry but i have really nothing about this one.. it kind of remind something, very briefly though.
That said, this guy is very very strong regarding riddles, helped me a lot back then + his videos are enjoyable to wach.

The treasure in Misty Swamps can only be accessed once you have given the power gem to the stone face so that it can repair the bridge. In that area, apart from the buried treasure, there is also an entrance to “GoldHeaven” where there is a lever to deactivate the plague alert (although I pressed it, I don't know what it actually does). The clue to unearth the treasure is given to you by the stone face itself when you give it the power gem. I should have seen it at the time, but I was probably distracted by a battle or something and forgot.
Regarding the strange symbols in the note from The Guardians of the Pyramid: I'll put it off. When I finish Final Adventure, I'll investigate it.
