I need some help with the archery range quest in the Imperial City...can not hit the target and I noticed that I can make the guy disappearing attacking him...but then? Is it correct to make him escape away? Thank you.

You mean he disappears after you call him a “con artist”? That's good, you've made it that far. Now you have to go talk to the “quartermaster” about that person. You must have completed the intendant's missions to get that far. You must have solved his missions first (the mystery of the wine stolen by the monks of Zo Temple and something else that I can't quite remember). It's all a bit far-fetched, isn't it? I always thought so. Then you should speak with the owners of the two taverns in Malan Tael and look for witnesses.

Any tips how to avoid crashes when saving game ?

Im done with this mod ! cant play for few minutes then crash, when save crash, even on medium details.....loading 10 minutes ! I wasted 90h of this and cant even finish it !

Try this:

1 - Apply the 4 GB patch to “grimrock2.exe": https://ntcore.com/4gb-patch/

2 - Set a Windows (or Linux) swap file with a FIXED size of 16384 MB or more. Restart computer.

Control Panel - System - Advanced System Config (Right) - Performance - Configuration - Advanced Options - Virtual Memory - Change - Uncheck the “Automatically manage” box - Custom size - Set the minimum to 16384 and the maximum to 16384, which should be more than enough, click SET (very important), click OK, and restart the computer when prompted.

Never use imported groups in Hardabar, nor use the console and then save, as this causes corruption in savegames.

Thank you very much. I have been able to go through this. I just now have a small problem with the Orb of Negation. I found all secrets in Skycity and killed all bosses, but I really cant find one of these Orb of Negation for the quest with Master Ringdil...I wonder if I should do it and find them before killing the final boss in Skycity...

Hello.

Just go to the room where you fought the wizard. There are four large orbs of denial. Stand in front of one of them and left-click on it. Only one of them can be picked up. It's a bit confusing. I discovered it by accident back in the day.

I got very serious issue with gamesave crash. I have set the lowest display settings and it didnt help much and world was awful with that look.
I have created script which played sound when memory usage reached 2900MB and then I have few moments to save game, but I ended up in the situation when I got alert as soon I logged into game. I have reached to the jungle.

BUT ... I found some kind of solution for it. Idk is it solution but I decided to open my savegame with save editor and I noticed that area map named "RedWood Mine Level 2" took the most space in my save game. Since I got all secrets from this area I decided to remove this area from my savegame. On the picture below I deleted all content including this line from savegame. After that my memory usage decreased from 2900 to 2100 and I can play well.

What can happen later after I deleted this content?

Anyway, I give all my stars for this mod. Its very well polished and its very different from main gameplay of LOG2. I like that. Only these walkpassing walls are not my favourite part of any game ...
I had exactlay same problem and this was solution form me. I had to stop playing...but now i can play again 1920*1080 high details.
