This game is constantly crashing/freezing on my PC just some seconds after i started it. I cant do anything except a hard reset if that happens and it happens every time....
Vsync is turned on and the temperature of my hardware is okay, so it is not overheating.
I tried to different display resolutions, full screen/windowed configuration, vsync on/off and lowered the details with no effect. The game still freezes. i already reinstalled the game and also reinstalled my graphics driver without no effect.
The only thing that made the game work for me was to turn off the "Use application settings" value of the "smoothvision HD:anti-aliasing" property for my graphics card. But if i do so, i only can see torches and nothing else.. but the game doesnt crash. However thats no solution.^^
My Pc: AMD PhenomII X4 955, 8GB RAM and ATI HD4870 with AMD Catalyst 12.3.
The strange thing: I have played the game for 1,5 hours and it worked great. I closed the game and started it again later. As i loaded my savegame the game crashed. I tried another savegame and the game also crashed. I started a new game and all works perfectly! No... just a joke, it crashed again.
Sometimes it even crashes on the menu.I would be happy if anyone got an idea how to solve the problem. Thanks in advance.
[Edit] I have no problems playing other games. Ive played skyrim and League of Legends after the problem with LoG appeared without any problems.
