[Bug] Everything's pitch black except for torch lights

As said in the title, everything wroks except that its pitch black and the only thing to be seen is the floating torches fire effect (it doesn't illuminate anything and you can't see the model of the actual torch). It can be picked up and I can see the inscription on the wall of the first level.

Bought off steam, verified game integrity files.

Specs:
Asus Radeon 6870 (1gb) video card (drivers updated)
i7 2600 CPU (not overclocked)
Kingston DDR3 16gb RAM
Windows 7 64 bit ultimate edition

I tried the game on my shitty laptop with the same client that I installed on this machine and the game works fine (at a low FPS which makes the game unplayable on the laptop, but it works) so it shouldnt be a client error.

I also looked into updating my Windows Updates and that fixed nothing, and I also installed the C++ VCredist package update that was required for the game to work.

Any ideas?

Knows issue with certain graphics cards drivers.

You should be able to solve it by resetting your graphics card control panel to default values.

Same problem here, but it appears at the second start (after I played it for an hour...).
Resetting the graphic card doesnt help, any other idea?

I am having the same issue but resetting my card to defaults did not fix it Any suggestions?

Edit: i found a solution! Turn off the forced Anti-Aliasing in Catalyst Control Center. Hope this works for others

Forcing Antialiasing through the Control Center, causes this on my 2xAti 5870s. Try disabling it.
