Can't reach axe

I planned to build axe minotuar, when I found an axe weapon it can't hurt any monster because of can't reach. So how to use this axe, and how long my axe minotaur have to fight without axe till I will find working axe weapon?

Members at the back can't reach with melee unless they pick up the right skill. What class is your minotaur?

I'm afraid the formation means that only the two front row characters can fight, under normal circumstances.

Abnormal circumstances are when you have a 'reach' weapon like a spear, or when you have the assassination skill up to the required level to allow a rogue to do it.

I don't think fighters ever gain the ability to reach from the back, though they can take advantage of things like the Spears. They're more suited to the front.

Correct, there's no game mechanic to allow them to do so.

I hope the OP doesn't have 3 fighters... that's unlikely so hopefully he can just move his party around.
