Anyone for english?

Dunno if this has been voiced already but anyway, you have got to get someone to help you with the language. It ranges from shaky to downright weird.

*English.

I'm joking. Considering these guys are Finnish (I think) I don't remember any obvious "What? That's translated really badly" issues.

Considering they are Finnish you don't remember?
Don't be offended, but with a sentence like that I doubt English is your first language either.

Did you know that Toorum was not a native English speaker?

On a more serious note though, it could be nice to make a list of language issues to fix, but I think the English is overall pretty decent in the game.

The only thing really missing is a comma.

I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of things improved (I think the scrolls in the archives are a little non-idiomatic, but maybe it's just me), but overall, it's not bad at all.

Soo.. you're in a dungeon, fighting for your life, and for some odd reason decide to write notes that you leave behind for other prisoners to find.. better make sure your grammar is spot-on, or someone might be offended. =)

I've bumped into a couple of phrases that had me scratching my head longer than I probably should have (without spoilers, level 4 comes to mind), but I'm not sure I wholeheartedly attribute that to any sort of Finnish-to-English translation issues so much as I just consider it a byproduct of the land and language the game is set in. Text puzzles like that are always going to be a little tricky depending on your demographic or vocabulary, I suppose, but overall I think where absolutely necessary the language has been clear enough to make sense.

Of course if you're struggling on a particular piece of dialogue or written text, you can always seek help in the Hints forum. I'm sure there are numerous users (myself included) who would be more than willing to help clarify what you are reading. :)

I don't recall any translation errors or awkward phrasing.

Clearly OP is someone who lack of education. The english they use has some influence from medieval era, Elizabethan era, or even Shakespeare..to match the era where LOG's lore take place. If the game uses modern english or "perfect english"...well that would just be weird.
