Big Thank you

Post by dark »

Hey Dev Team, I just wanted to say thank you for making this game and for making it looking old school and how incredible it looks.

I loved the original Eye of the Beholder series. In fact I loved it so much I made a conversion of it a few years back for Neverwinter nights. We are working on part 2 currently. I was shocked to see this game and how it looks and feels like the old School games. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard about this game until I got an email this morning from GOG.

I watched the video and immediately loved the look and feel of this game so much that I bought me a copy. It was a very pleasant surprise to see the game being sold so cheap too. I would have paid double and still been overly happy.

Thank you again, I cannot wait to start my new adventure into the depths.

It's amazing how many people are saying they just heard about this game this morning on the GOG email! I'd say GOG have done a great job advertising this, and bringing them on board was the definite right thing to do. :)

Ya I have to add in my feelings of joy to this thread. I just found out about this game today and watched the video. I got so excited I pre-ordered it immediately. It's so refreshing to so someone out there to bring back such a classic style of RPG. I used to play games like this with my friends back in the NES days and spend hours upon hours, even having sleep overs and playing all night long. We would have our own graph paper maps scattered all over the place. One of the most epic gaming experiences and here you guys are reviving that nostalgia. Thank you!

Just wanted to add to this thread.

Thank you guys

I've been waiting for something like this since 1992 when I played Eye of the Beholder II on the Amiga.
The game looks fantastic and most importantly seems to capture the essence of the dungeon crawl, remaining respectful on the systems and art direction of the older games but with updated graphics and effects. It looks like eye of the beholder drank from the fountain of youth!

Thanks again.I got a copy for me and one for my brother. We can't wait to play your game :)

I also would like to say thanks to you guys for doing this. I never played many RPGs in my younger days, but here as of late I have been trying to play more intelligent RPGs.
I have been trying to stretch my gaming legs and get away from the hand holding that is so rampant in our game universe today. I have pre-ordered my copy as of yesterday and can't wait to download it, it is going to make my down time in June a lot less boring.
Gotta dungeon crawl before you can dungeon walk...

Just another thank you from a 41 year old gamer who, like many here - often misses the good old days ;)

Like several others here I first heard about the game from the GOG email I received yesterday. I have already pre-ordered and can't wait to play! I did end up grabbing it from GOG so I could support both their site and your efforts. THANK YOU very much for you efforts!
