Here's an idea, To help the older folks and other needing help with the quick and nimble puzzles.
Provide alternate routes to the Goodies (like the Sword of Nex) and the passage from LvL05 to LvL06 as examples. So they too can enjoy the fullness of the marvelous game.

Re: Help the SLOW Fingered
I find that if either due to my slowness or that of my PC if I turn down all the graphics settings to their minimums, I can do the required tasks in the time allowed. After success I turn the settings back up to what I use. Of course this will not help if you already play at the lowest settings.
Re: Help the SLOW Fingered
Its optional. If you lack Dex to pass some tests (or Int to figure some puzzles) you can usually finish game without them.

I doubt that one can go from LvL 5 to LvL 6 without completing the Chamber of Pits...Whisper wrote:Its optional. If you lack Dex to pass some tests (or Int to figure some puzzles) you can usually finish game without them.
If there is a way to get to LvL 6 please?

You can always give someone your save file if you're stuck on an area. Drop me a PM if you need a hand.RMariano wrote:I doubt that one can go from LvL 5 to LvL 6 without completing the Chamber of Pits...Whisper wrote:Its optional. Re: Help the SLOW Fingered
I hope that a future LoG game will have a slider to increase the tolerance for timing puzzles. I am having a tough time, due to my use of a sluggish wireless mouse and keyboard, flaky computer, or old age. One of the puzzles seriously took me about 100 tries
Re: Help the SLOW Fingered
How about a true round based toggle option? You move one tile, the game progresses 1 Tick. You should be able to turn this off though, since riddles with moving stuff would be hard if you want to figure out how it actually moves to start with.
Or what about a Slow Time potion?
I just don't like the idea of making different routes for everything. Because if there is a way, I want to explore it anyways or I have the feeling I missed something. And the precious feeling of a solved riddle is somewhat gone.

THAT.... would do the trick. A slow motion spell or potion lasting no more than 5 minutes would be perfect.naim wrote:How about a true round based toggle option? Re: Help the SLOW Fingered
this should do the trick:
- all graphic options down
- vsync out
- SSAO Quality off
- no light (torches etc.)
