Anyway, here are my thoughts about the game;
-It was damned great
-Great graphics and lighting effects.
-Excellent sound design. Hearing unfamiliar slithering noises beyond walls was always very unsettling. (Who's bright idea was it put a "Burp" sound in the Troll's deathcry, though?)
-The 2 above points both contributed for what is an EXTREMELY atmospheric game. Also, those damned earthquakes, those were a brilliant touch and further increased the sense of helplessness
-Shitload of secrets, which are rewarding to find.
-The puzzles were excellent- They were many and varied- some tested your logic, some tested your trigger finger. They were all very fun to take on.
-I feel the combat could be a bit more... involving, in some way. Not sure how. There are a couple of combat-related threads going on right now with some really great ideas in them. With a bit of an extra spit'n'polish, it could stand on par with the excellent puzzle and exploration elements, instead of just being filler.
-The

final levels\boss wasn't really to my liking. It all felt a bit... rushed, and strange. I was hoping to find out a bit more about the entire situation and backstory of Grimrock\The Undying\Goromorgs before the game was over. I mean, what was the Undying gonna do if he was set free? Roll on and splat everyone? It seemed kind of silly. And on top of that, the whole final battle sequence just wasn't very fun/engaging.
As I said, great game, AH! Glad your effort paid off, and I'm looking to see more of your work, the Editor, and how you'll expand the Grimrock universe.
