Yeah, draw them out one at a time. Back-peddle until you can find a room with a 2x2 space or more and strafe them. If there's more than two, try funneling then through at a choke-point .
Thanks. I’m finding this game brutally difficult, even on the lowest difficulty. That said, I’m still enjoying it immensely.
The game revives the classic dungeon crawling strategy of treading softly and positioning for battle. The ice lizards are well worth the trouble, though, as you'll find you can more than replenish your food supplies with slabs of delicious blue dinosteaks.

They are giving me a very hard time too. I just entered the temple and the first one you see in the 2x2 room is a fairly easy kill, but as soon as I move further into the corridors I spot 3 or 4 of them and sooner or later they corner me and slaughter my entire party.

you just need to kite them one at a time into a more manageable area. also, try to use them to block entrances so others cant get in.

if you have a mage with poison bolt, just cast that at one that is 5 or 6 squares away, run to a safer area, and try to take them out there. if you can afford to, you should have the exp necklace at this point, but try to kill them for a while and gain some levels if you need them. itll take a while, but it could be helpful. youll have plenty of food to afford to waste the time ;)
