If people don't eat anything, then tend to die for some reason. This is proven by countless experiments conducted by various well-meaning governments and private individuals.

Guess you'll have to complete the game quickly then!

This may be possible, espcially if there is beer in the game which we can drink instead, that'll take the edge of the hunger!
