Bug: Cannot complete game [SPOILERS]

I think I have borked my save to be unbeatable. In the tomb of the designers, I left without picking up the weapon of power. Now the teleport at the door to the room with the weapon is still there and prevents me from entering again (it just teleports me back to the boss). Is there a way around this?

Can you go back to a save before you did this? You should have an autosave from earlier if nothing else?

Unfortunately, as I have multiple games going, no. However, as I have already beaten the game a couple times, its no huge loss. I just wanted to make sure you guys were aware that if you pick up the weapon of power, but then drop it, going through the portal borks your save. I have no idea of a way around this other than to move the portal to the center of the room, rather than the doorway.
