Expecially because as you progress, spear damage won't increase as much as other weapons and it will get frustrating.

I'll probably go for it, four ninjas, unarmed, dagger, throwing weapons and bow. Sad there isn't enough gear for all of em.

yes there is, easily you can have a rogue back row with 20 quarrels and crossbow or bow with 30 arrows, theres about 15 throwing axes, 30 or so stones, dozen shooting stars and about 20 throwing knives

entire thrown/missile formation would also be possible, but they would sometimes have to use bare hands

edit: if you meant armor tho, yes thats a little different, theres lurker and chitin set, but there are two other sets of light armor available. you probably wont need it with pretty high evasion on those guys anyway.

The annoying thing though is that if you change ranged weapon type mid-combat, the pick up isn't automatic anymore afterwards. It's actually a small thing I would like to see improved especially when using enchanted arrows. I don't mind re-enchanting after combat, but having to manually pick up all the bolts/arrows over multiple enemies is a bit tedious when compared to just walking over them.
