7 to 9?

so i did level 7 and went down some stairs and before a few minutes i was at level 9 the temple. Have i missed loads? Now at the temple where you have pressure 9 or 12 pressure plates and a few riddles from a room near about left once right twice etc. Whats that all about?

Yes you can go straight to 9 but you will miss a lot of good loot and gameplay.

3/4 of lvl 8 is optional, you get to the vault from lvl 9 with a hint you get on lvl 8

The scroll has nothing to do with Chequered Room (the one with plates). The hint is the scroll will be need later in that level so I suggest keeping it.
