ha. funny you mention this. im a second edition lover myself, and i remember when 3rd edition came out and people quickly figured out how to make super characters (which is incidentally why i never liked 3rd+ edition), that was the exact arguement they used; "i like roleplaying, not rollplaying."
i used to laugh when people i knew who played 3rd edition decided to try some of my second edition games and they would get destroyed by ankhegs.
