Post by dvallet »

Hi, i've a notebook with win7 and an nvidia ion chipset with a dedicated memory of 256 mo
The resolution is greater than your requirements.

Will Legend of Grimrock will work or not.
Thanks a lot, Didier

Well your PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements, that being said many people have got it working on less.

Sorry I can't give you a yes/no answer. You could try running the Tech demo though,

I think the hard feature where other integrated GPUs struggle (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=123) is the need for shader model 3.0.
The ion has a Nvidia 9400m GPU and this one should support even 4.0. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... sing_units)

So it should work, but If the limited RAM and performance of this GPU will lead to satisfying FPS... I don't know. But here is a report of successful using a 9400M with LoG (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1131).

Darklord's hint to the tech demo is a good idea, test it and please report back, we are intrested in result :)
