Thank you for your comments.

It's not easy to write a story with only compound eyes to see and claws to hold a pen  .

In my imagination my story is ready up to level 6. Now my heroes only need to survive this first part of their journey. But how will they handle the unknown deeper part of the dungeon? Only the Big Winged One knows it.

This is a test. Do you think it's acceptable? Smaller sizes are possible but that's the first where you can read the words and numbers. But at this size I'm afraid that I can't post many pictures. Three or four of them and a page of this thread is full.....

It would probably work better if you played at a VASTLY lower resolution, such as 800x600 or 1024x768 or 1024x600 or something, then the screenshot text will be easily readable for us in the thread.

Oh no, vastly  ? Playing a very good game at the best relosution means the biggest fun! I'm sure I'll drown my in tears if I reduce it from 2560x1440 to 1024x768.

Hm.

Hm.

I'll try it after closing time. But if the quality of the graphics is so worse that I can't stand it, I think I'll better post less pictures. I can tell more tomorrow.(I'll remove the pictures this evening.)

Thanks for your advice anyway.

Well the problem here is the forum displaying such large pictures. Instead of including scrollbars it plain cuts it off for anyone running a lower resolution then you. You could shrink the pics down before posting.

Now if there would be something like the "screenshot" tag as in the vbulletin forum software, enabling picture scaling depending on user screen size ...

If you want to see the whole picture just zoom the page out, Ctrl plus mouse wheel is the quickest way.

I want you to read my story and enjoy it. I only want the pictures to bring in a little more life. I don't want the readers klicking and zooming and working .....

Maybe it is not necessary to show pictures with text or something. IMO the best pictures are the ones made with luck, as the second one here in the test. So maybe I can reduce the size within imageshack to a resolution for a 17" monitor. I don't want to go smaller because if you need a magnifying glass, there is something wrong too.

Edit
This evening I replace both pictures with a 17" resolution. Let's see how it works.

Just grab sections of the screen using a snipping tool, there is one built into Windows 7 if you use that.
