Mod Request - Predefined Party
Mod Request - Predefined Party
Soon we r going to have a ton of awesome mods. I would like to have a party template of some short, so i wouldnt have to manually set up my starting party each time. Is this possible to make now? Any1 willing to do it?

I think this would be a good feature that Almost Human could implement - saving your party and the end of a dungeon and porting it over to the next. Although the new dungeons would probably be too easy if you had a very experienced party right at the start.
Re: Mod Request - Predefined Party
I dont think that a party which cleared a dungeon already should be able to move to another, cuz most likely that next dungeon is designed for lvl 1 chars. This might change in the future tho, cuz why not. Some1 can design a dungeon to start out first.. then design another with the mindset that u completed the first one first.
My idea/request is about lvl 1 charachter generation tho. It has nothing to do with the completing of a dungeon. I just dont like to recreate/rename/reskill my sweet 4 mages all the time
Ye i know.. im lazy

Re: Mod Request - Predefined Party
It's a reasonable request that has been made before, hopefully it will happen at some point but is a low priority right now.
I see it sorta like rolling D&D characters, you can spend some time just prepping a few parties "ready to go" and save them, maybe even just a save game file where you haven't set foot in the dungeon yet, and can be used for any dungeon you make.
So maybe creating your party would be a separate step from choosing the custom dungeon or regular game. Or maybe when you choose a dungeon or regular game, it asks if you want to create custom party or load a saved custom party.

I'm pretty sure it can be done via script when you start the dungeon.
Hell, I may even write a script later tonight for my own

but you wouldn't be able to use that party in other people's dungeons.SpacialKatana wrote:I'm pretty sure it can be done via script when you start the dungeon.
