If people want to cheat they can just make a mod that has a hundred tomes of health in the first room and import their characters from that anyway. I just feel it's important that the default import method is "clean" without imposing extra hassle on the player to accomplish it :)

Glad to hear it was fixable.

That's fantastic news about the character import being fixed. Now we know truly can do the old school D&D adventure level system and know that when a party of 20th level adventurers join our party, they're not running around with the stats of a level 40 party (because they've been through a few mods). Very much glad that you were able to fix!

And a modder can just remove all the items from the heroes, like force them to put it all into a chest to make a door open

Would some sort of export option instead of taking saved game data remedy that? Retrieving new equipped item definitions so it can work when importing?
Maybe down the road a little more I'm sure if we see something like this. This also would make it more modular when making your custom party for other dungeons.
Exporting *Single characters and Importing *Single characters would be the greatest thing.
No complaints though, what we have now sure beats what we didn't have. One step at a time. ;)

Items would already have been removed through the import feature. That won't affect the tomes though since they've already gone from usage. And even if so, a would-be cheater could just open the mod and remove that script. Or put a million treasures behind the door.
