I thought I understood how to make my own custom monsters it seems it is more difficult than I thought.
I can edit the monsters.lua no problem. I have already made a goromorg with yellow light .But how do I put a custom texture on it like others have done (see viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3676). I already browsed and found the .dds files for the textures for monsters from the asset pack. And I have edited them too for my own custom monsters. But I honestly do not see a direct connection between the .DDS files and monsters.lua. Also the monster's script in monsters.lua refers to .fbx file but none are present in the assets given. They are all in .model format.
If I have to edit the .model file, please tell me how. I am a 3d modeler and nothing I have can open it. not even notepad.
PS: I am not a computer science major. I will need step by step answers, not hopeful jargon.
