Someone make some silly assets for a fun dungeon. like think a dungeon crawler in the mushroom kingdom.
reskin a slime to have an angry goomba face.
give the doors Thwomp faces:

I can just picture how we would set these up.
Hidden pressure plate in front, causes it to close while activating a timer for it to open.

So it goes both up and down?
yes or pressure plates I suppose. I wish we had grating that goes across the ceiling. then we could use that to trap it up there if we used a thwomp to block the players way until they found the level to close the grating.
I feel we just stumbled into a whole new puzzle to use.
