Corrupt wallset (1.2)

Post by Asteroth »

I am now showing the fruits of my "Retexturing walls" threads labour. The corrupt wallset! If people here like it I will probably offer the files. It is my first edit of anything however (excluding the retexturing tutorial). It's perfect for horrer needs, I'm especially proud of the ceiling. It kinda has a 'silent hill' look.

I like it a lot, looks really creepy :) You can make some kind of a torture chamber level with this.... Did you retexture the doors and other assets, too?

Oooh, very nice, I like the rusty and dark look and feel to it. Like you say - perfect for a jumpy / horror level of a dungeon, or as you approach the lair of the big bad evil guy.

Definitely worth releasing through the Grimrock Nexus.

I'm not going to lie, you gave me a fright for a second thinking that the files were corrupt - so I was doubly glad to see this post wasn't that! :p

Alright, the response seems positive. I have now unleashed the corrupt wallset upon the world. I pray for your souls.

Oh and Aeon . I would like to but I dont yet know what I would do with wood. My next target is turing fog (from a thread on particle effects) into black corruption.

Awesome work! This is a really nice wallset! I also thought you meant you had a technical problem with them! You may want to consider a different name. ;)

How about Insidious Wallset. :)

Thanks for sharing, I just played a bit with your wall set, and it looks absolutely stunning!

That black corrupted fog is a great idea and may fit perfectly! :-)

Man. I like your set, but you've forgotten to release the objects.lua file into the pack.
