Is there a way to recharge a Fire Blade or the Lightning Staff after it goes empty

Sadly nope. So use it only in emergencies. For example, a mage with Ice Magic spells only can use Fire Blade/Poison Dagger/Lightning Rod to attack Ice resistant monsters.
