I finally unlocked Toorum but I have to format compliments of my little nephew and I need to know what I must save in order to keep Toorum unlocked when I reinstall? I have the GoG version, also if I was to buy the normal steam version could I transfer my Toorum save to it?
Also on a related note where do I put custom map files in order to play? Extracting in the C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Legend of Grimrock doesn't appear to work. Thank you.
Toorum saves?
Re: Toorum saves?
It may be a little disillusioning, but it's just a text file in your C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock directory. You can create one and put it there yourself right after a fresh install.
Name the file "toorum_lives.txt" and it's contents are only "Toorum was here."

Re: Toorum saves?
Thank you, I just backed everything up and did the format. Luckily I also backed up my documents folder as well
I will admit it's amazing how Toorum became a favorite with only a few little notes
Last order of business is how to install custom maps?
*EDIT*
I didn't know Nexus had this so I just installed with their installer. Seems it made a DUNGEONS folder inside the C:\Users\name\Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock\Dungeons the only downside is that when I start a new game I can't get off Grimrock as default dungeon.

Re: Toorum saves?
only the newer version can do it, does your say 1.1.4 or 1.3.1? (lower left of title screen) You should be able to download and install the newer version from GOG
