I figured spelling was important, but capitalization as well? I'll have to remember that, ok so lets say I add a script like the one I just made above and it stuck it in the scripts folder, is this not right? Does it go elsewhere, also what ID and Entity Inspector? Sorry this is giving me a headache, if I didn't really want to do this, I would have gave up already, but if I can figure this out, its going to be funKomag wrote:spelling and capitalization matter very much, so in this case, first of all, either both of what you wrote were "bronzedoor" or "Bronzedoor" but not one of each. But anyway, you can only call a name like that if you have specifically given a door that ID. If it's just a bronze door you placed in the dungeon, use its ID listed in the entity inspector

You should watch the videos I put together as they will help you quickly learn the basics and have a better feel for your way around the editor and not just tell but SHOW you exactly the answers to that.
basically, it's in a script item (looks like a little "lua") in the editor, not in that file folder (although some advanced things you do that way)
Look at this thread for links to the videos and lots of other good info

I am going to retire this post, since I spend more time in Modding a Love Hate relationship, but before I go, I just want to say bravo everyone! I just figured out how to manipulate some of the tools, and my dungeon is finally coming together, I was also just about to design a few objects here and there, and decided to check the forums, and seen that a few of the ideas I had in mind, had already been created by you folks. So my hats off to you, once this monster of a dungeon is done drop on by and give me your sou...errrr opinions
