[Mac] Dungeon Editor - Cannot delete assets from dungeon

Post by 2Four »

Love the game. Getting into the Dungeon Editor now. I use the mac version and am perplexed at its operation. I cannot seem to do simple things like deleting an asset from the dungeon. For example I've added a crab in the starting room, but when I <cntrl+LMB> to delete the asset in 'select entry' mode nothing happens. I tired this in Asset mode and draw tunnels mode. <cntrl+x> doesn't work either. Even the <DELETE> doesn't work! What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Well I figured it out. Boy do I feel silly. I'm a mac guy and don't know the windows environment at all. Anyhoo, on the mac version of the editor to delete a misplaced asset from the dungeon, one has to use the <CMD> key in lieu of the <cntrl> key. so it would be <cmd+x> to remove an asset.

A few more tips for Mac users in the dungeon editor:

- Make sure you run the editor in a maximized window. I don't know if this goes for all Mac machines or if it's just me, but on my MacBook I have problems clicking stuff in the editor unless I run the app in fullscreen mode. If I try to open a project without running in fullscreen the editor crashes.
- CMD doesn't always replace CTRL, for example toggling full screen in preview mode is still CTRL + F (not CMD F)
- Maybe stating the obvious, but you can change the keyboard shortcuts in the menu ->preferences (for us MBP users without page up+down buttons).
