Black screen issue, Anti-aliasing not forced on

I recently purchased the game on Steam, and whenever I try to load it I get audio, but no video whatsoever at any point in time. I've read through the forums, and found a lot of topics about this issue, and it said to turn my anti-aliasing preferences to "use application settings." I've done so, updated all my drivers, ran the directx and vcredist exes, and still get nothing. Any help would be appreciated, please let me know if there's any information you need that I left out.
