Stopping a non-looping mono-sound

Post by Grimfan »

I suppose the title says it all. ;)

Would any of you great scripters know the best way for cutting short a non-looping mono-sound before it finishes (such as when the characters leave an area) and without altering the wav file?

Of course this means I don't want it to be looping (unless that is actually an easier way of doing it).

Any suggestions would be great. :)

There is a trick using door objects connected to the sounds, around here somewhere, used in Mine of Malan Vael IIRC
