[Linux] No keyboard entry works at all

I'm using Ubuntu 12.10(64bit), Grimrock@1.3.6 bought through Ubuntu Software Centre.

I cannot enter anything, at all, using keyboard. Notes on maps, Savegames ... all have to be blank, no keyboard entry seems to work at all

If anyone has any suggestions this would be hugely appreciated.

Ah, after searching the forums further I found this is a known issue and it's apparently already been fixed and will ship with the next update.

Hi, I'm a twice buyer of LoG first on GoG and the the second on Steam.

In order to have a usable Linux version, the ability to write names with keyboard in Saved Games,
is essential.

Can developers speak about the plans of bugfixing the Linux version?
