I might recommend "Dear Esther" for open adventure without fight or monsters. See if it fits your needs. It is very moody and has great music and narrative.

A non-interactive tech demo with one single path to hover along isn't exactly the same. Especially considering that there would be no point in drawing a map because you can't get lost.
