[Mac] combat on laptop?

Hi:

I just started playing and am unable to fight. I can throw weapons but not hit with them, nor can I punch.
I'm playing on a laptop so this is probably the reason as I have no right click function. I did try Option-click and two fingers on the trackpad but neither worked. Anyone else have this problem? I may just not be understanding how combat works.

By default combat in LoG required right-clicks on the characters hands. But one of the last patches brought an alternate. Retry combat with the "Tablet Mode" option enabled. It was made to clear up left-right-click confusion and for those with only one mouse button.
