Now updated for part 5, and tomorrow we will see the conclusion, for now, of Pillars of Light.

I have SO much more to learn and improve on for this game before I tackle the Master Quest version. Here's to trying!

And building my own actually sounds like a lot of fun! I actually think I'll look into exactly that while I'm working on Master Quest. I see that the creator of that also re-did the original, so I can actually get a good look at the programming of the original to see how things were done.

Two things I have learned over the years: Learn from the lessons of others, and don't reinvent the wheel, instead learn new ways to USE the wheel.

One of the best things to come out of the original remake, is that you get to see what the original would look like if it were done in the editor.

That's going to be very helpful. I'm still trying to bungle my way through the slime dungeon, and I'm thinking some distance might make a difference.
